Aside from being one of the most beautiful destination weddings I’ve ever seen, it’s also refreshingly simple.

We have been very busy with weddings, engagement sessions, and bridals.
I wanted to share some of their bridal portraits.

Choosing the perfect photographer for your wedding has always been quite a challenge. You never quite know who you are getting or how good they are. You don’t know what can go wrong. A studio will charge $500 – $5000 or more for your wedding; the price of a decent vacation. When you shop around for a vacation you surf the net, read books and magazines. Why not do the same with your photographer? Once the wedding is done, the photos and video are the only record of your important day. It is a one shot deal with no UNDO button. The photographer is an investment worth researching. I don’t have a problem paying good money for someone who is best in their class. Be sure to plan your ceremony and reception times as close as possible. The fewer hours that you’ll have to pay the photography studio, DJ, and reception location, can save you thousands.

There is huge number of possible questions you can ask your photographer. Most professional photographers will provide you with clear explanations about their services prior to any questions even asked. Many of them have full packages that include certain number of prints, digital files, enlargements, etc., so it is very clear what level of service and final products you should expect.
When you’ve narrowed your list to one or two photographers, ask each of them to show you complete coverage of a single wedding. This will give you a much better idea as to what you can expect than a collection of the best shots from several different weddings. Consider whether the photographer successfully captures individual characteristics and personalities. Do the pictures capture people’s feelings, or are they just pictures of people standing around looking self-conscious. Do they look natural?

We spend time getting to know you so you will feel comfortable with our presence at the wedding and you can be yourself, this will allow you to reveal emotion. Emotion, after all, is what weddings are all about. The best photographs capture the peak of emotion, body language, or gesture. We feel it is important to be unobtrusive and be sensitive to what is going on around us in order to capture the moment. We try to sense the emotions that the couple are sharing, try to imagine the feelings of the mother of the bride as she cries tears of joy at the event. If you can sense those feelings, you will be rewarded not only with great wedding photographs, but also by being moved yourself by the beauty of the event. That is what really drew us to wedding photography-we were moved by every wedding we witnessed.
